Course Complete
You did it.
You've finished the Fundamentals of Classical Guitar. Take a moment with that, it is a real achievement, and the start of something well worth continuing.
A word from Simon
When you first picked up the guitar, none of this was familiar.
Now look at what you can do. You are sitting and holding the instrument with ease, both hands know their job, and you have played a melody, arpeggio duets alongside me, and your own first solo piece. That is a genuine foundation, and honestly, most people who set out to learn this instrument never get this far. I hope you feel just a little proud, because you have earned it.
Here is the thing I most want you to know. This is not the finish line. There is no finish line on the classical guitar, and that is the joy of it. There is always another beautiful piece just within reach, and always a clear next step to carry you there.

Where the path goes next
Keep going, in good company
The Fundamentals you have just built sit right before Grade 1 of the Cornerstone Method, our single, structured journey of eight grades that carries you from here all the way to advanced repertoire. You will always know exactly what to work on next. That whole path, and the people walking it with you, live inside CGC Academy.
A clear path
One coherent curriculum, grade by grade, so you never again have to wonder what to practise or whether it fits together.
Real teaching
Live coaching where you can play for me and the team and get honest, useful feedback, not just videos to watch alone.
A warm community
Guitarists from all over the world, all on the same journey. Supportive, never competitive. The difference between practising alone and learning together.
At 56, I had spent ages jumping between YouTube channels with no clear path, until I found Classical Guitar Corner.
Chris, CGC member
A structured curriculum, terrific instructors, open mics, and a supportive community. The best online guitar course there is.
